Hello guys, I'm here to try to explain the new cave we have..
From what I have gathered from my own experimentation, this is basically the same thing as the arena, except you are not facing real people. This is a way for you to play with your formation tactics.
For each mission, you are award 1, 2, or 3 stars, depending on your performance. At the top of your screen, there are 3 chests. Once you collect the number of stars shown by each chest, you will be awarded the chest, along with the loot inside!
Once you beat a mission and gain the 3 stars, you will be able to raid that mission. Doing so, you will not take any damage toward your units. you will just get the reward.
Each chapter increases its difficulty..
Chapter 1 is not hard. you can beat it with the following simple formation:

Note: You probably can beat it with less, if you wanted to stretch it.
Chapter 2 has an easy start, but gets difficult about half way through. Depending on your march, you will have to adjust the following formations. I curently have a 140k march, but for the smaller strongholds, I went through Chapter 2 also with a 80k march. Formations Follow...
80k Formation:

100 2000 2700
20000 20000 25000

Note: This formation is almost perfected, but I ran out of stamina. With this formation, you will get 3 stars every stage except 2-10. It can easily be finished with a 100k march.
